This pure wool shawl is inspired by the beautiful area of West Cornwall.
The colours of the heather and gorse covered moors that lead down to rugged cliffs and secluded bays of golden sand.
The anchors and waves that reflect the importance of the sea to life in Cornwall, from the fishing fleets that are vital to the economy of the West Country to the breathtaking Mounts Bay that stretches from Lizard Point in the east to the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole in the west.
Mounts Bay is included in the list of Most Beautiful Bays in the World and draws people from all over the world to enjoy it's uniqueness.
This shawl has been designed by Mariarosa Martin and is only available through Iriss of Penzance.

FATLanolin (Wool Fat) 25g

Sachet of Lanolin for restoring the natural water and wind resistance of knitted woollen garments.
Dissolve a pea size quantity of wool fat in a cup of boiling water then add to cool water, wash garment and leave to soak in the solution for a few hours, wring out and dry flat, blocking the garment to the correct size.
This treatment only needs to be done every 8 to 10 washes so this quantity will last for some time.
